About Me

I am a masters student in the mechanical engineering department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My general interests include environmental sustainability, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and promoting development in non-industrialized nations. Academically, I am interested in nonlinear and chaotic dynamics, energy harvesting, and robotics. My current research project is ambulatory vibration energy harvesting with the PERG Lab and Dr. Themis Sapsis. The goal of the project is to charge personal devices by using the vibration energy available from a person walking.

A publication based on my masters research is still in the making. Click on the content below to learn about what I worked on as an undergraduate at Cornell University (2012).
